Graphology/Handwriting Analysis Samples

Handwriting Analysis is Evidence Based and incredibly accurate! In reality, handwriting is brain writing. It is an extension of your body language. Every stroke that is made conveys accurate information about the writer.
Analyzing handwriting can be beneficial in your business or personal life. Improving your relationships with your spouse, child or expanding your understanding about yourself, graphology can assist in all areas.

Using handwriting analysis in your business can be a key tool to finding the right employees for the right position every time.
Handwriting analysis is very detail oriented and time consuming. That being said, its worth it due to the fact, its so precise.

Remember, handwriting is a picture of the writers mood AT THAT MOMENT in time. Therefore, you could literally write the same sentence every hour on the hour and see minor, and even major, changes to it depending on what is happening right then. One trait, plus or minus another can mean something entirely different.
Below are examples of a basic "shapshot" analysis, a good place to start. With many samples we could discover so much about the changes in the writers life. Enjoy and thanks for reading.

Handwriting Samples:

Brandi

Samples of subject "Brandi's" writing:

The combination of overall shape of the writing plus letter formation will create a picture of what the writer is really like. Gestalt means "form" in German, and that's where to start with a handwriting sample, the form

.

PLACEMENT is where I like to start. This writer starts right at the top, proving she is in charge of what she's doing and doesn't like to be told what to do.

SLANT would be part of the gestalt analysis. This writers slant is right in the middle, this writer can get along with both extroverts and introverts and displays characteristics of both in her personality patterns. Slant is measured several different places on the page, sometimes slant will vary a lot, then look at what the writer is writing about to get a better understanding of why the slant changed. Brandi stays (relatively) consistent throughout.

SIZE and SHAPE would be another thing to look at, once again this writer is in the middle. She is able to keep her cool amidst turmoil, and has the capacity to be compassionate, sympathetic, friendly and has self control.

BASELINE is another thing to look at while doing a gestalt analysis. There are two base lines basically in every writing. There is the directional baseline, which direction it is going, up, down, straight or varied. Then there is a baseline within the words themselves, that a much more complicated lesson.

After these things are established on an analysis, then you really start break down each letter and strokes within the letters. There are several "traits" to look for, some good, some bad. Traits like "broadmindedness"or "close-mindedness", "dignity", "diplomacy", "jealously", "tenacity", "frankness" or a lack of. These are only some traits to look for.

STUBBORNESS-this is shown in "t" and "d" stems. The stubborn thinker is like a person standing with his feet planted apart, arms folded across ed his chest.

After the identifiable "traits", you continue by looking for honesty or dishonesty signs. There are dozens of dishonesty traits that show up in handwriting. In fact, I'm yet to see a sample of handwriting that does not have a least a couple. Even Mother Teresa's shows enough to be secretive, of course, nuns do have to be secretive. Just because you have a dishonesty sign or two in your handwriting, does not necessarily mean you are. As mentioned above, there are no traits that stand alone, none that are so "cut and dry" that they only mean on thing. In Brandi's sample, she shows if she is in a position to be dishonest, she may just avoid a complete answer. With some people that may not be a definition of dishonesty, it may just be avoidance, but if the avoidance is to not face a truth, does it then become an untruth? There is a fine line. Once again, you must look at a lot of different things to establish who is honest, sly, dishonest, and then there are true, hard criminals and thieves. Those types of people would have more than just dishonesty, but possibly cruelty, resistance to authority, and no conscience. All combined, that would be a very dangerous person.

Thinking skills, or lack of them, would be next. Does this person think fast, slow, will they retain what they've learned? Brandi is quick thinking and plunges into projects, then slows as she gathers facts. She is a hands on learner and will remember what she is taught.

Willpower, Imagination and Humor would also be looked at. These are traits that change from moment to moment depending on what is going on, what's going through the mind of the writer at that minute in time.

Lastly you would do a complete separate handwriting analysis on the writer's health. Everything you already covered goes out the window and you start over, looking at every stroke, every dot, line and dash, trying to detect any abnormality. Most times to see health in handwriting it needs to be enlarged. There are subtle differences to look for to distinguish between a crumb under the paper or an actual health ailment. This is very advanced handwriting analysis, but incredibly accurate!

Brandi's Analysis

This writer is somewhat ruled by self interest. She can come to conclusions without outside influence. She demonstrates diplomacy and has the ability to say what others want to hear. She will phrase touchy subjects in an inoffensive way. She has empathy and compassion and can relate to others. She has the capability of being responsive and sympathetic. She will keep a level head even amiss the existence of emotional stress and turmoil. She is an ambivert, which by definition is a personality pattern that has characteristics of both introversion and extroversion (Encarta ® World English Dictionary © & (P) 1998-2004 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved;)

She can be outgoing and friendly, but may have her moody moods. Demonstrated in the first letter dated 9/06, she was a little more impulsive, showing a tendency to jump to conclusions. In the second letter, dated 5/07, she has a little more reserve about her, a little more poise and self control. She has a playful nature about her and lives for today. She may have some resistance to authority and is skilled when handling confrontation. Not sensitive to criticism, she will answer bluntly and honestly when questioned. However, she does have a secretiveness about her.

She wants to believe the "cup is half full" although there are some disappointments in her past, she strives to maintain an optimistic outlook. She is practical and use common sense. In a crowd she will adapt accordingly. She is more introverted in public than in private and may have a tendency to shy away from the spotlight She is quick thinking and plunges into a project, then slows as she gathers facts, a hands on learner, she will remember what she is taught. She is methodical and procedural. She has the ability to create and construct with her hands. More creative than artistic, she prefers a more relaxed outing over a formal setting. She expresses her imagination in a normal and healthy way, using it to understand and gain knowledge. She requires facts to make important decisions. Once a decision has been made, she does not want to be confused with details. Headstrong, she may become stubborn on issues she feels strongly about. In the first letter, '06, she may find herself with an unexplained bias, a closed mindedness that seems to almost completely disappear in the '07 letter.

She is loyal. She does not offer her friendship in a light or casual way. On many issues, she may tend to fall "in the middle of the road", specifically on issues that do not have a great importance to them in her thinking or life. Once again in comparison between the two written samples, the '06 one has more intense emotion, the signature on that one was illegible and several times there were indications of issues with the opposite sex, perhaps an irritation or boredom with her partner at that time. There was little if any of that demonstrated in the second letter. In the '07 letter, the signature has more self-control and composure. Although she is practical and down to earth, she does exhibit some tendency to procrastinate and does not always pay attention to details. She may have little tolerance for those that don't agree with her.

Listening without bias may be one of her challenges. She is self protected. There is an indication that something in her life is still not complete. Religiously, her beliefs stay in her head. They are not mainstream beliefs, so she tends to keep them to herself. (Unless asked, then she would share them with the listener, and defend her own ideas.) She may try to avoid giving a complete answer specifically with things she considers secretive or non-public. (or "none of your business".) Not overly generous, if she knows she has enough and feels well provided for, she may donate to charities or causes she has a strong opinion of. She may have a tendency to manipulate with kindness when she is trying to persuade others to do things her way.

This writer has some physical frustrations, maybe linked to lack of exercise or sexual activity. From the first letter there appears an older injury or sickness in the reproductive areas of her body that does not cause current irritation. In the second letter, those health concerns have turned into a scar. She is able to draw boundaries in personal relationships. There is indication of some negative self criticism.

Within her career, she may be well suited for Audio/visual production, Interior design, or Photojournalism because of her imagination and creativity. Due to being diplomatic and her ability to tell things in an inoffensive way, she would be well suited for Editing, Decoding or Translating. (Or Graphology!) Investigation, Security and Law Enforcement would also be good for this writer as she is able to keep a level head in the midst of turmoil and does not tend to take things too personally. Work involving planning, programming, directing, and conducting advertising and public relations programs designed to promote the sale of products and services, create goodwill and/or establish a favorable public image would be good for this writer as she as good mental process, initiative, originality, resourcefulness and good verbal facility.

Dacia

Samples of subject "Dacia's" writing:

Ok, so this is me. Honestly though, this is really ALL ME!

The combination of overall shape of the writing plus letter formation will create a picture of what the writer is really like. Gestalt means "form" in German, and that's where to start with a handwriting sample, the form.

PLACEMENT is where I like to start. Where did the writer begin his written journey? Does the writer "follow the rules"? Like we were taught in English class or does the writer start right at the top, or half way down the page? It tells alot about who that person is.

BASELINE is another thing to look at while doing a ge sault analysis. There is the directional baseline, which direction it is going, up, down, straight or varied. Mine is always going up. I'm truly an optimist at heart, I can find the silver lining in the most horrible situations. There have been times in my life my uphill slant has been TOO pronounced, TOO uphill, anything in excess can't be a good thing. In my case, I have used the uphill slant and rosy optimism to cover up something in my life that isn't going exactly as planned. Once again, this is another example of how NOT every trait means the same thing every time.

SLANT would be part of the Gestalt analysis. I'm an extrovert. I have a far right slant. Slant is measured several different places on the page, sometimes slant will vary a lot, then look at what the writer is writing about to get a better understanding of why the slant changed. Not only does the slant of my writing show how outgoing I am, but it also indicates that I'm implusive and reactive, something I've been trying hard to change. Like an algebra equation, (A+B=C-D) with handwriting, if you change one thing on one side, something will change on the other side automatically. For example, if take out of the spontaneous, implusive parts, it will add more analytical thinking and I'll become more PROactive. This sounds crazy, but it really works. Check out the graphotherapy samples for more information.

SIZE and SHAPE would be a couple more things to look at. Is the writing small, medium or large? (or VERY large, or very small?)

After these things are established on an analysis, then you really start break down each letter and strokes within the letters. There are several"traits" to look for, some good, some bad. Traits like "broadmindedness"or "close-mindedness", "dignity", "diplomacy", "jealously", "tenacity", "frankness" or a lack of. These are only some traits to look for.

TALKATIVENESS-this is shown in "o's". My mom says I was born with a cell phone in one hand and a camera in another, (come on, a cell phone in 1968?) Anyway, I am a talker. Always have been! This lower case "o" is a prime example.

As for me, I'm not going to say where or what dishonesty traits show up in my handwriting, since this is my website, I can do that. Email me, I'll tell you all about them!

Thinking skills, or lack of them, would be next. Does this person think fast, slow, will they retain what they've learned?

Willpower, Imagination and Humor would also be looked at. These are traits that change from moment to moment depending on what is going on, what's going through the mind of the writer at that minute in time. I use my imagination in a healthy way, to explore new ideas and learn new things.

I broke my leg in several places in 2002, to this day, I can still see the scar and the health issues show up in my writing.

Natalie's Signature 1998

This is a sample of Natalie's signature in 1998. There is some frustration in her slashed i dot and some sarcasm noted in the t bar.

Natalie's Signature 2007

Here you see how much Natalie has changed in less than a decade just from her signature and the small doodle of the heart. The i dot no longer exsists and the long t bar has softened and is now ending leftward. The heart from the 2007 signature shows a connection on the top, whereas the example from 1998 is open and segmented on top. It is to be noted, over these particular 9 years, Natalie did meet the man of her dreams and settled down. Also look at the extreme difference of the e's on both signatures.
