Been too long since I've blogged, thats for sure! A quick update, the office REALLY is almost done this time. We are waiting on the floors to come. Everything else is basically done, electric, landscaping, etc... Check out all the new pictures, etc on my myspace, dacia505.
I'll be having my first HANDWRITING WORKSHOP on 12/01 and hope you can make it! It will be the introduction to handwriting analysis. Ray will be catering lunch, should be a great time. Cost is $150, place is here at my new home office, time is 830a.m-1p.m.

Something not working in your life, figure out what it is and identify it in your writing and then correct it within the penmanship, it will correct the behavior.
Sounds easy???
It certainly is NOT! (Try it.)
Its like Prozac without the gnarly side effects.
Remember too, handwriting not only is it brainwriting, its like an algebra equation, A+B = C-D, if you take something off one side, it will effect the other, so be sure that's what you really want to do and understand what the ultimate affect will be. Over the years I've made suggestions about people's writings and now wish I could re-call all my statements! Like any therapy, it needs to be gradual and specific to the problem at hand.
The example shows in 8/07 a very impulsive, loud, outgoing, spontaneous writing, within a month, the writing shows a more analytical, reserved, pro-active example. (Yes, its the same writer.)
The other thing I have been working on is my lower case f. It is the letter of organization and I am VERY aware of how I am forming it. Recently I was cleaning and re-organizing under the sinks in the bathroom and kitchen. My husband asked me "What got into you?" and my only reply was "Lower case f..."

I saw a bumper sticker this morning that made me stop and think. It said "where are we going? And what am I doing in this handbasket?!?" The world, our youth, life as we know it, to hell in a handbasket. Where did we go wrong? I'm not being a cynic but really, there is another saying that says "if your not outraged, you're not paying attention." Once again, where did we go wrong? When did our yards get smaller and our closets get bigger? (there's a subject for a whole new blog!)
When did we stop corresponding with the written word?

Reading, Writing and Arithmetic... our forefathers and mothers knew what they were talking about.

When did it turn to reading, math and word processing 5.0? Could this be where we are failing our youth?

The Palmer method of writing is still used in our classrooms today. It was created in the late 1800's at a time when America was a very different place, it’s no wonder we have a hard time relating to it, it’s as outdated as the Model A Ford. However...

Our brains, they need the written word.
Handwriting. Brainwriting.
It’s the same, but because our hands do the physical work, we call it handwriting, because after all, brainwriting sounds a bit silly.
But it’s our brain.
It’s who we are, how we are feeling, what we know.
Purely science, there is nothing psychic about it.
It cannot predict the future but it can tell you how you will deal with whatever situations may be thrown at you. How well you will adjust, or not. It shows physical ailments and can warn us of health issues before they are actually issues. Handwriting will tell a pregnant woman if she is having a boy or girl (even how far along a woman is in her pregnancy and if she's having multiple babies) Furthermore, mental diseases such as ADD, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Dyslexia, and SSS can all be diagnosis with handwriting. Progress is being made on the office. We have the sunroof in and the shape is looking more and more like a caboose.
Workshops and classes should be starting in October.
"Discovering yourself through your handwriting" will most likely be the first class. An indepth look at yourself, your strengths and weakness will be revealed! After taking the class one should be able to tell a lot about a person just from a glance of their penmanship.
If a student chooses to sign up for the extended, more in depth class, all monies from the workshop will be applied to the cost of the new class.
